TUNNEL FINISHERS
CFS Series Narrow Body
The CFS Series tunnel finishers are designed for the shoulder-to-shoulder finishing of garments and are best suited for dry-to-dry finishing of garments. However, they are capable of damp-to-dry at slower production speeds. This series is ideal for dry cleaners, hotel laundries, institutional laundries and other on-premise laundry applications.
Quality Finishing Step 1: Shoulder-to-shoulder orientation allows close-up and complete steaming of the garment for full penetration and relaxation of fabrics, which is the key step to the quality finishing of dry-cleaned garments
Quality Finishing Step 2: Thermostatically-controlled airflow gently shakes and heats the garments, enhancing wrinkle and lint removal
Labor saving: Reduces or eliminates pressing for many of your dry-cleaned garments
Space saving: One tunnel does the work of multiple press stations, resulting in a net gain in valuable floor space
Unattended operation: Autoloader allows the operator to place multiple garments on the powered storage rod, which automatically and precisely loads each garment on a conveyor hook for finishing. After finishing, the garments automatically unload to the exit storage rail. This automatic operation frees the operator for other duties
Greatly reduced heat transfer to the workplace: Narrow entrance & exit openings, fully insulated, continuous internal air circulation, automatic steam on/off as needed, and an optional advanced exhaust system
Match your workload and your budget: Five Narrow Body models to choose from
Standard two-year parts warranty
TUNNEL FINISHERS
CFS Series Narrow Body Boilerless
A tunnel finishing system suited for small or remote installations where a high pressure boiler system is not available nor desirable. The “Wizard” technology (patent pending) uses a built-in steam generating unit to eliminate the need for an external boiler to supply the steam for fabric relaxation. In the small OPL (on-premise laundry) this effectively replaces the boiler, piping, water feed systems and chemicals, a dryer, and a main garment press.
Non-pressurized system means no boiler restrictions or regulations
Simple water and drain connection
Use ordinary tap water
Built-in filtration system
Electrically-heated system generation, water supply and electrically-heated air section (EWE)
Optional gas heating for steam generation and/or heated air section (EWG, GWG)
TUNNEL FINISHERS
CFS Series Wide Body
Thermostatically controlled, high velocity air circulates throughout the tunnel to wipe away wrinkles as heat relaxes the fabric and removes moisture. Air deflectors direct a vigorous airflow over the garments for outstanding finished quality and a soft, lint-free feel. Available with either gas-heated or steam-heated finishing chamber in three different models to meet your specific production requirements.
Side and bottom steaming allows complete relaxation of fabric
Smooth-formed stainless steel interior panels without exposed fasteners or sharp edges
The CFS control panel places all tunnel function controls in one simple location
Entrance and exit ends designed to reduce steam and heat loss
Lift-off exterior panels with locking handles provide for easy serviceability while restricting unauthorized access
Standard two year parts warranty
U.L. listed industrial control paneL
TUNNEL FINISHERS
CFS Series Wide Body Boilerless
COLMAC’s patented “WIZARD” technology uses a built-in steam generation unit to eliminate the need for an external boiler to supply steam for fabric relaxation. The revolutionary COLMAC “WIZARD” Technology allows a tunnel finishing system suited for installations where a high pressure boiler system is not available or desirable.
COLMAC “WIZARD” FEATURED BENEFITS:
Non-pressurized system means no boiler restrictions or regulations
Smooth-formed stainless steel interior panels without exposed fasteners or sharp edges
The CFS control panel is UL Listed and places all tunnel controls in one simple location
Entrance and exit ends designed to reduce steam and heat loss
Lift-off exterior panels with locking handles provide for easy serviceability while restricting unauthorized access
Standard two-year parts warranty
Colmac tested for quality assurance

CFS Modular Wide Body
The CFS 2100 Series garment finisher is designed for the high production finishing of blended garments wet-to-dry, damp-to-dry, and/or dry-to-dry. Infinitely expandable, each module is self contained with heat source and control system providing unparalleled control and performance.
The world class CFS 2100 series tunnel finisher is the most productive tunnel finisher in the world today. Over the past decade the Colmac CFS 2100 series has become a staple in major industrial laundries around the world. The CFS 2100 series tunnel finisher has earned the reputation as the most dependable finishing system in the industry. The 2100 series tunnel finisher has a lengthened steam module to increase the garment’s exposure to the steaming process. By injecting steam from the sides, above and below the garment, the steaming system improves steam penetration into the garments while using less steam. The steam section has the Colmac “walk through” design to allow for easy access for maintenance and cleaning. The steam chamber has smooth stainless steel walls with no exposed rivets or fasteners to catch on garments. The 2100 series tunnel finisher uses a built in drain system, condensate return, and a heated floor pan to prevent moisture from collecting at the bottom of the tunnel. All steam components are enclosed behind a lift-off panel for safety.
Both the steam section and the finishing sections of the CFS 2100 series tunnel have removable lift-off panels to safely enclose steam, gas, blowers and electrical components
Configurable in either left or right hand hanger logic to fit your plant layout
Available in either high efficiency natural gas or steam heated
Available with push button controls, or the new redundant PLC control system
Sensors to trigger the steam injection and save energy when not needed
Each finishing module is equipped with easy to use lint screens, or the new automatic lint screen cleaning system
Fully tested at the factory prior to shipping
Advanced Gas Chamber Colmac produced the first direct fired, gas-heated finishing chamber in 1982, and has continued to improve upon that foundation. The CFS 2100 Series employs a new, highly efficient, “state-of-the-art” gas train in the finishing modules. This gas train is composed of internationally approved parts
Every Colmac CFS 2100 Series finishing module comes equipped with its own gas train and blower system. Each module is individually wired, and need not be removed from production in the event another module is being serviced. Each module has its own gas inlet and emergency shut-off valve
TUNNEL FINISHERS
CTU Series U-Turn
The Colmac CTU Series tunnel finishers utilize the “U-Turn” configuration rather than the straight-through design of the CFS Wide Body Series. The “U-Turn” configuration is preferred due to equipment placement, conveyor system and/or production flow. Our “AIRFOIL” blower system moves more air to accomplish high quality finish at the high production rates needed in today’s industrial uniform laundry.
No other U-Turn tunnel finisher on the market can boast the quality, production and rugged construction
Advanced blower and air distribution system
Standard PLC and touch screen control system
Full entrance/exit enclosure to evacuate excess heat and steam
Air distribution system equalizes air volume and turbulence throughout entire finishing chamber assuring top quality, performance and productivity
Full-length air return system saves energy by effectively recirculating heated air back to the blower
Adjustable steam settings: exceptional finished garment quality begins with properly conditioning the garment and preparing it for the finishing/drying chamber. Proper steam volume in the steam chamber is critical
